Learning and development has always been an integral part of the WI. MWI Monthly Meetings often include speakers who share their knowledge with our group. Recent talks have included speakers from The Royal School of Needlework, The Wildlife Aid Foundation, Dementia Friends, and the Reverend Anthony Howe (pictured in the doorway, above) on the history of Hampton Court Palace’s Chapel Royal.
Denman: in Oxfordshire is the home of WI learning and offers a wealth of opportunities to learn new skills on day schools and short courses in the fields of cookery, crafts, and lifestyle. The Denman range of courses includes something for every interest, from curries, cakes and crochet to papercutting, photography and Pilates. All are welcome.
